Contribution to India's energy security in a responsible way

Rajesh Tiwari, Operation and Maintenance of CHP and Coal Washery, Adani Enterprises and his team

Starting from scratch…

When I joined Adani's Chhattisgarh mines, those were early days for the project. In the absence of basic infrastructure in place, we started from the drawing board. First, a detailed roadmap was put out and then every stage was carefully implemented. When I look back, it was an end-to-end journey.

A difference led by technology…

When we talk about the use of advanced technology in coal processing, not be aware that efficient water management is one of the most critical tasks of this domain. This is one area where our projects stand out. We accumulate the seepage water that is used in different mining activities. The water thus collected is then processed at a treatment plant. By implementing a zero-discharge method, we are able to recycle used water and the same is used for different activities.

Safety comes first…

Unlike common perceptions about remote infrastructure sites, safety in operations is paramount to at Adani. The company believes in investing strategic knowledge sharing into building a safety culture in our human capital. It is this personal humane touch that motivates people and energizes them to work harder for the company. Given that all our mining activities are completely mordernized, systematic and organized we maintain a healthy balance.

Every person working at these sites is aware that our combined efforts help in lighting up many lives.

The larger purpose…

The opportunity to work in Adani gives me a larger purpose in life. Every person working at these sites is aware that our combined efforts help in lighting up many lives. By this way, we are able to do our bit in making India energy secured and contribute towards building the nation.
